Andes Heliboarding and Ecocopters are providing the Eurocopter AS350-B3 helicopter for the filming platform, as well as the heli-lift for competitors and crew. The first event involved 3 helicopters, and moving over 50 people, including competitors, journalists, gear and crew, from the Valle Nevado Ski Resort into position in the Andes Mountains. Photographers were dropped at strategic locations, and Dino Raffault, the Aerial Coordinator, called the start of every run.
