HD video aerial survey with Picture-in-Picture. Data display includes GPS coordinates, airspeed, compass heading, actual and proposed pipelines with access roads and workspaces.

Enhanced Services

Aerial Filmworks offers far more than just excellent camera work. We use the Cineflex V14HD as a high-definition capture device to deliver a broad range of custom services for our clients including:

• Geo-coded images (GPS data embedded into the EXIF data fields of high-resolution images.)

• Geo-coded video for utility or pipeline survey.

• Video Frame Grabs- 6 Mb files from 1920 x 1080 HD video.

• Pre-flight Visualization and Location Mapping

• Google Earth mapping of images

• Google Earth maps and fly-through movies

• Google Earth KML File Export

• DVD Creation (both Blu-ray and standard)

• DVD Printing (custom and one-off covers)

HD Video Frame Grabs

Video frame grabs from high-definition video. Small image shows detail at 100% view.

Video frame grabs can be used for detailed inspection or publishing. Each image is 5.93 Mb when opened. A full-resolution 1920 x 1080 HD frame grab contains 650% more information than a standard definition 640 x 480 image.

Integrating HD Video, Images and Google Earth

Aerial Filmworks creates custom presentations integrating HD aerial footage along with geo-coded images into Google Earth maps and videos. Users can fly-through Google Earth to the exact photo location, and view video or images from that location. We can deliver KML files or custom Google maps.

Tour the Grand Canyon.

Aerial Filmworks produced an exciting geographical tour of the Grand Canyon National Park including the aerial filming, high-resolution geo-coded images, Google Earth tour, and video editing. Each pop-up window displays the GPS coordinates and a description of the location. The overall project maps hundreds of photo locations. (Quicktime plug-in required. Depending on connection speed, movie may take a few minutes to load.)

Gyro-stabilized Cineflex V14HD Enhances Video Useability

The full 5-axis stabilization of the Cineflex V14HD delivers high-definition video from safer altitudes outside of the “wire environment”. Under a deadline with windy conditions? No problem, the Cineflex delivers rock-solid video in all weather environments. And when pipelines or transmission lines go through neighborhoods or cities, the aircraft can fly a higher altitude for noise abatement and safe operations.
