HD Video Editing
We offer a selection of high-end HD editing services on state-of-the-industry Mac platforms. We have three edit stations including two 12 core MacPro with 32 GB RAM, 2 Kona 3 capture cards to ingest uncompressed 4:4:4 footage from HDCAM SR tapes, and a Matrox compressHD H.264 accelerator card. With 126 Terabytes of Raid 5 SAS online storage and another 25 terabytes dedicated to tape capture, we can handle massive projects. We have 40 Terabytes of off-site RAID storage for back-up of critical files. We use a 25″ Panasonic 2550 production monitor for color-grading and critical review. With 2 full-time editors, we can respond quickly to last minute post-production needs.

Aerial Filmworks provides world class “Archangel” video restoration services. The Archangel, from the Snell Group, is a hardware-based solution that can repair video artifacts, remove defective pixels, enhance stabilization, and reduce video noise. We master and replicate quick turn-around short run Blu-ray Discs and DVDs. Our services include design of custom menu screens, covers, and disc printing.
