Red Bull “Project X” and Shaun White’s Secret Half-Pipe Filmed with Cineflex V14HD

Aerial Filmworks provided the Cineflex V14HD and technical expertise for the filming of Shaun White’s secret half-pipe deep in the Colorado mountains. Sponsored by Red Bull USA, Project X premiered during the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Contracted directly by Red Bull USA, Gray Mitchell of Aerial Filmworks rigged the Cineflex V14 camera system to a Eurocopter AS355 Twinstar from Aircam Helicopters, and provided technical expertise throughout the production to Director Curt Morgan. Aerial Filmworks also provided the helicopter mount, HD LCD monitors and Sony SRW1/SRPC1 HDCAM SR record deck.
